How much does a school meal cost and what’s included?
There has long been a positive association between learning outcomes and nutrition.
School meals are FREE for all Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 pupils, regardless of household income (a saving of over £480). This entitles your child to a balanced main course and dessert and access to a salad bar.
If your child is in Year 3 or above, the cost per meal is currently £2.80.
Your child may be entitled to a Free School Meal, please speak in confidence to a member of the School Office.
Ordering and Registering
All meals need to be booked in advance and paid online using our SCOPAY online booking and payment system. This also gives parents (and children) the opportunity to select a meal choice ahead of the day; either the Main Option, a Vegetarian Option or a third option which is either a Jacket Potato, Wrap or Pasta Pot. You will also be able to book your child in for a hot lunch on an ad-hoc basis. For example, if your child would like to have the roast that is offered on a Wednesday, you can book them in for this one day only. If your child would like to have a hot lunch only on a Monday and Thursday, it is now be possible to book these meals.
